His Valentine

Jesus wants each and everyone to become a His Valentine. 

That is giving of our hearts over to His loving and caring heart. 

Trusting in his unfailing love.

Oh, what love He has for you today!

That constant and ever true love of God.

Yes, it really is. Just accept it.

Our Christmas

        Christmas is not just a time for gift giving.

Yes, sending money for children who so desperately need it is true Christmas.

Yet, it is also a time for fellowship.

When God gave us His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, 

as a wee baby, 

He knew, one day, 

that baby would grow up 

and He would become 

our Christmas.

Look around you and see someone to talk to.

You can let God use you.

Our Colors

My daughter, Ruth, took a picture of a red- winged black bird in flight,
 near Kilcona park.

She took a great picture, because it was in flight, showing its 
beautiful colors including red.

The wings were down showing the part that never gets seen that
 bright red color.

You and I are also to be in flight,

 ready to show our colors.

     The Bible says:

"Let your light so shine before men, 

that they may see your good works, 

and glorify your father, 

who is in heaven.

Mathew 5:16

Why?

All because its wings were down.

Giving

Giving is part of all of us. We all give something.

Just think of it: 

If we would all give a little more,

 we would all benefit by it.

Giving is so vital. Let's just give it a try. 

Then we would get a little more

 by what we "give".

Making life just a little better.

You and I can do just that.

Giving of ourselves just a little more.

Mothers' Day Honor

Suffer the little ones to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of heaven. 

Matthew 19:14. 

Sunday will be Mother's Day; a day set aside to honour our mothers. 

Perhaps, like me, your mother has passed away. 

Even so, let us be that kind of a mother, grandmother or great grandmother, showing strength, love and loyalty to our children.

What a privilege that is! 

Keep loving and respecting your children, they deserve it.

On Sunday we will celebrate Mother's Day!

Let us not forget our Mother. 

Helping her around the house, doing the dishes, setting the table for all the guests. By doing these little jobs we will be encouraging her.
